Glitter Goblin Games started with a lifelong love of tabletop gaming, a head full of weird ideas, and a dream that’s been quietly growing for years.

For the past few years,I’ve worked as a board game cafe manager, spending my days surrounded by incredible games, passionate players, and the kind of wonderfully chaotic energy that only tabletop gaming creates. Somewhere along the way, that love turned into a much bigger question:

What if I made my own?

Not just one game - but something bigger.

Glitter Goblin Games is the beginning of a much bigger dream of mine: building my own tabletop game business, creating unforgettable games, and one day opening a board game cafe of our very own where people can play the games I have brought to life.

This journey is also deeply personal.

I live with Crohn’s Disease - a chronic inflammatory bowel condition that’s shaped a huge part of my life. Living with Crohn’s means unpredictability, flare-ups, setbacks, hospital visits, and learning to adapt when life decides it has other plans.

But it’s also taught me resilience, creativity, and the importance of finding something meaningful to pour my energy into - especially on the days when my health makes normal life harder.

Glitter Goblin Games has become that outlet for me.

A creative project. A future business. A dream in progress. And, honestly? A little bit of controlled chaos.

Our very first game, ‘IT TAKES GUTS’, was born directly from that experience.

But rather than making something serious, I wanted to create something fun! Something chaotic. Something strategic. Something a little ridiculous.

Because if you can’t laugh at the chaos sometimes… What can you do?
